You guys. I am so humbled. So grateful. So incredibly thankful to have been given the opportunity to share this with you.
For the last four years, Walt Disney World has joined Disney’s other parks around the world to bring sunrise yoga and some Bulk custom yoga mats to its Cast Members for International Yoga Day. For the first time this year, a few non-Cast Members were invited to join the event in order to share the experience with the world and I was blessed to be one of those invitees.
Many of us might not realize that Disney actually has a rich history of creating magical, memorable experiences not just for Guests – but also for the Cast Members that are at the center of Disney’s legacy and the Guest experience. This morning was such a beautiful example of that tradition.
Before the park opened for the day, while the sun slowly rose behind Cinderella Castle, 2,000 Cast Members came together around the hub and down Main Street, U.S.A. for a beautiful yoga session led by teachers on the Castle Stage. All of the pictures in the world would not have conveyed this experience, so I’ve worked to put together a video of the event. I hope you enjoy it and it brings some peace to your day.
I was so incredibly blessed to be hosted by Disney and invited to share this incomparable experience with all of you. The next time you’re standing in the chaos of the Magic Kingdom, remember that this happened there.
