The Kringla Bakeri og Kafe at Norway in Epcot’s World Showcase debuted two new sweets this week!!
First was the Salted Pecan Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie. This thing is big enough for a family of four and served warm. The salt was a nice touch and the pecans add great texture – but all in all I’ll be honest and say that I think I’ll stick with the skolbread, which happens to be one of my favorite sweets in all of Walt Disney World. Granted I’ve recently been spoiled by Gideon’s Cookies at The Polite Pig – but this treat, while certainly not bad, fell a bit flat to me.
The next time I’m in I’ll be trying this lovely little confection, which is also new. I’m told it’s flavored with lemon – and the colored eggs on top are malted milk balls.
