Eat This: The Cheese Studio at Epcot International Food & Wine Festival

The Cheese Studio at the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival is yet another stop in our beloved Culinary Corner in Future World West.

There you’ll find 3 offerings – 2 savory, 1 sweet. The two savory items are repeats from last year, so they might be familiar to you already.

  • Braised Beed “Stroganoff” with Tiny Egg Noodles, Wild Mushroom, and Boursin® Garlic and Fine Herbs Cheese Sauce (kid friendly) ($5.25)

You had me at “tiny egg noodles”. This repeat from last year is still as tasty as it is ugly. Everything that it lacks in photogenicity it makes up for in taste. It’s simple and creamy and good and goes down easy. Enough said. Winner.

  • Cheese Trio – Profiterole topped with Boursin® Garlic and Fine Herbs Cheese and Orange-Apricot Jam, Smoked Salmon Pinwheel with Boursin® Shallot and Chive Cheese and Everything Seasoning, and Strawberry Macaron with Boursin® Pepper Cheese ($5.50)

Another repeat from last year and still just plain delicious. I love, love, love this trio – from the mix of garlic herb cheese with apricot orange jam to the pepper and strawberry to the smoked salmon pinwheel that embodies everything that I miss about good bagels as a Florida transplant. For the flavor that you get here, $5.50 is a great value.

  • Maple Bourbon Boursin® Cheesecake with Maple Bourbon Cream, Caramel, and Pecan Crunch ($4.50)

Yet another good cheesecake here at Food & Wine. Like the others, it’s the creamy style – and with the maple flavor it’s very sweet. Between this one and the passionfruit cheesecake at the Hawaii booth, I’d personally take the passionfruit – but that’s really just my personal preference. This is a solid option, too.

The Wine & Dine Studio is still my personal favorite – but the Cheese Studio has some incredible stuff again this year and I’m sure I’ll be back.

But until then: Check!
