Walt Disney World has just updated its mask policy, effective April 8th, to allow guests to remove their face coverings for outdoor photos. The language reads as follows:
Face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and up) and Cast Members, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine. Please bring your own face coverings and wear them at all times, except when dining or swimming. You may temporarily remove your face covering while actively eating, drinking or taking an outdoor photo*, but you must be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing during this time. (*Beginning April 8)

What are your thoughts on this latest change? I, for one, continue to be impressed by Disney’s willingness to continuously learn and update its policies in line with current recommendations and their own experience. It’s been such a lesson in handling what life throws you in a safe but also practical and workable way.
And I am also admittedly so, so thrilled at the idea of seeing my kids’ faces in pictures again…
