As just announced on Twitter and elsewhere by @DisneyParksNews, Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort have each made the decision, in the face of current uncertainty with respect to the impacts of COVID-19, to close indefinitely. Pay to hourly parks and resorts cast members will be extended through April 18th.
This extends indefinitely the previously announced closures through April 1st.
It stings to read the words, even if they are not a surprise – but in all honesty the decision feels more realistic and honest than firm dates that we’ve seen from other parks.
