Pineapple Promenade is one of those classic old faithful-type food booths at Fresh Epcot. A staple at Flower & Garden, its predictability is only outdone by its yum factor. This year, like others, it serves up 3 food items – one savory and two sweet – and a long list of drinks.
- Spicy Hot Dog with Pineapple Chutney and Plantain Chips ($8.00)
This thing is huge and, if you can take the heat, really really good!! A good quality hot dog on a soft bun smothered in pineapple chutney, crumbled plaintain chips, and spicy sauce. Definitely a spin on comfort food and always a crowd pleaser for guests that can handle spice.
- Mixed Berry Buttermilk Cake ($5.00)
This is really lovely. A nice little serving of crumbly cake topped with a healthy dose of fresh berry compote. The tartness of the berries cut the sweetness and soaks into the cake like a sponge.
- DOLE Whip® ($5.25)
We all know it. We all love it. Not much more to say, except that you can also get it topped with coconut rum for $12.
- Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade (non-alcoholic) ($4.50)
Did you even go to Fresh Epcot if you didn’t get a violet lemonade? A Flower and Garden staple, this is a lovely little kid-friendly drink that’s as photogenic as it is refreshing.
