- Location: Around Crescent Lake, which will take you past each of the Epcot Resorts, and then between Jellyrolls and Atlantic Dance Hall at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort, past the Swan and Dolphin, on down the paved path to Hollywood Studios, and then head back again. [Note that this path may require modification in the current pandemic climate, so abide by Disney’s requirements and tweak as needed.]
This is my #1 favorite place to run on property. I absolutely love Crescent Lake and think it’s incredible that there’s a running trail that will take you past five resorts and two park entrances. And if you hit it just right (and aren’t too sweaty), you can reward yourself with a trip into Epcot or Hollywood Studios after. Or a beverage from Hurricane Hannah’s on the beach…when it reopens.
- Distance: Around 2.5 miles.
The loop around Crescent Lake is only about 0.8 miles – but you add substantial distance by also heading out to Hollywood Studios and back on the path that starts at Jellyrolls on the Boardwalk.
This is such a great spot to get some good mileage in – and the setting doesn’t hurt either.
- Pro Hack: As always, bring water and wear sunblock. But also know that this is one of the few places on property where you can get some (very gentle) hill training. There are two inclines worth mentioning as you’re rounding Crescent Lake and then heading out to the Swan and Dolphin.
- Fun Fact: If you’ve ever run a runDisney event, you might already know this path, as it’s incorporated into many of the races.
