Officials from Walt Disney World and Sea World will present plans for reopening their Central Florida theme parks to Orange County’s economic recovery task force on Wednesday at 10 a.m. The meetings are said to be broadcasted live on Orange TV, which streams RIGHT HERE if you want to watch.
If the task force approves the reopening plan presented by Disney, it will go to Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings for review. If and when he signs off on the plan, he will send an endorsement letter to Governor Ron DeSantis.
Demings called the anticipated plans from Disney and SeaWorld good news, and said that the proposed approaches of both parks, which were said to be similar to those of Universal Orlando and other attractions whose reopenings were approved last week, included an abundance of safety measures for guests and park employees to help stop the spread of coronavirus.
